Aleppo soap 50% laurel oil

Aleppo soap is a natural soap, also known as Ghar soap, Savon d’alep or Alep soap. In the Arabic language, Sabun Ghar or Sabun Halabi. It is similar to Castile, Nablus or Marseille soap, but with the addition of Laurel oil to the olive oil at between 5% and 60%. It contains no environmentally damaging Palm Oil.

  • Soap comes with laurel oil content of 50%. Bars are ~200g each
  • The essential oil of Laurus nobilis has been shown to have antiviral and antibacterial properties
  • The soap is aged for 7 months or more and they are hand cut, so they can be slightly less in weight
  • No added scents or chemicals. Ideal for sensitive skin & babies
  • Vegan-no animal derived fats or chemicals
  • Scent free- hypoallergenic and the oil content is moisturising, nourishes and protects the skin

  • Ideal for use with skin allergies, psoriasis, eczema etc
  • The glycerine that makes olive oil based soaps so nice on the skin means they can get a bit soggy if left wet, so it’s recommended to use a soap dish with good drainage
